This means we leave the stain color as is. this method only abraids the top finish, removing micro scratches & dullness, then a fresh top coat is applied. results less time, and money saved over sanding.

This means we do the entire process. Sand, (without dust, about 97% sucked up during sanding) Staining (1-3 hour dry time for stain) 2-3 coats (depending on your needs) of the best water based finish available, that dries in 3 hours between coats. Your floors will be like new.

On average we can sand two - three rooms sanded in a day. No Dust refinishing process can be done within 6 hours or less.

What’s the difference between Water Base
and Oil Base Finish?

    The pros and cons-And the benefits of both.

    Oil Finish:
    Have been around longer then Water based finishes. It is used in most lower to medium range jobs, because of price. It’s can range from 20% to 50% cheaper (price wise) then water base finishes.

    Pro:
    A.
    Oil tends to penetrate the wood a little deeper then oil, thus bringing out the grains in the wood.

    B. Has Been around for years and tested.
    C. It's cheaper in terms of cost to the contractor, thus in most cases
    maybe cheaper to you.

    Con:
    B. It smells, most people usually leave their home during the application of the oil finish.
    C. It takes up to 12 hours to dry.
    D.It will turn yellow over time.

    Waterbase Finish:
    Is the new comer, as of this writing alittle over 12 years in the market. I come with many benefits that oil based only wood floor finishers would like but, can't achieve with oil.

    Pro:
    A.
    One brands has the lowest VOC. (off gases-smellness)
    B.
    It dries in 2-4 hours. Allows for two applications in the same day. This minimizes the time needed on the job, saving you a day or more.
    c. Two grades, residential and commerical. Depending on your needs you can select either one, both will dry in 2-4 hours.

    Con:
    A. It cost more.
    B. Not been around as long as oil. (But show great promise)
